Korean style rice bowl with seasoned veggies
I love Korean food, bibimbap is one of my favorite.
The toppings are usually stirred together with the rice before eating, which makes it so flavorful
pickled carrot and daikon radish;
1 chop the Daikon radish and carrot into matchsticks
2 sprinkle salt and marinate with hands, after 10 minutes sitting, squeeze water
3 marinate with brown sugar, vinegar, sea salt
spicy teriyaki tofu
1 cut atsuage or extra firm tofu (press and drain water) into cubes
2 coat with potato or corn starch
3 make spicy teriyaki sauce mixture with water, maple syrup, soy sauce, chili paste
4 heat canola oil, pan fry tofu, pour spicy teriyaki sauce and cook until glazed
bean sprouts sesame salad
1 rinse bean sprouts
2 blanch, drain water, add 1tsp sesame oil, sea salt, grated sesame and sesame seed
Serve with Korean spicy miso paste
