Last night dinner was Panda Express vegan orange chick’n and green veggies stir fry.
Orange chick’n turned out heavenly delicious!!
made my family happy I’ll definitely make it again!!
Orange chick’n
1 press firm tofu, drain water freeze it, and thaw naturally, squeeze water
2 dip in batter (mixture of flour, plant milk)
3 coat with seasoning mix (corn or potato starch, nutritional yeast, crushed corn flakes, salt, and pepper)
4 deep fry, and set aside
5 make orange sauce
1/2cup 100% orange juice, 3TBS water, 1TBS canola oil, 1.5TBS brown sugar, 1.5TBS soy sauce, 1TBS apple vinegar, 1/2tsp minced ginger, pinch cayenne, 1/2tsp sesame oil
6 in a large frying pan, heat orange sauce with low heat
7 add fried chick’n, stir to mix until nicely glazed
🥬Green veggies stir fry
1 in a large wok, heat sesame oil
2 sauté minced ginger
3 add bok choy, and mustard spinach
4 sprinkle salt and pepper, drizzle vegan oyster sauce
