I go grocery shopping once in a week, before going shopping, I always try to empty the fridge.
Last night I made a paella using all the veggies and mushrooms in a fridge.
The paella was delicious, and the fridge was cleaned , I was so satisfied
Corn paella
1 boil corn for 3-4 minutes, and set aside, save the water
2 prepare 8 cups of veggie stock with using corn water
3 heat olive oil in a paella-pan
4 sauté minced ginger, sliced red, yellow, green paprika, shimeji and Maitake mushroom, sprinkle sea salt and black pepper, add grape tomatoes and set aside
5 in a same pan, add more olive oil and sauté 2cups of rice (no need to rinse )and cook until translucent
6 add 1/4 cup white wine and bay leaf and cook until wine has evaporated
7 add about one cup warm stock and 1tsp turmeric, 1TBS nutritional yeast, and cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until nearly absorbed.
8 continue adding the stock in batches, stirring constantly until the rice is al dent
9 put veggies and back in a skillet and mix gently
10 put corn back, and broil until corn’s surface is slightly burnt
11 squeeze lemon
