Filet-O-Tofu is one of my family’s favorites Easy to make, guilt free and taste so satisfying
Crispy Yummy Filet-O-Tofu
1 press firm tofu, drain water,cut off the corners to look like a filet (save the corners to make tofu ricotta)
2 sprinkle sea salt and pepper, dip in batter (mixture of flour and plant milk)
3 coat with corn meal, kelp powder, nutritional yeast, and crushed corn flakes
4 in a large skillet, heat olive oil, and pan fry until surface is golden brown
5 serve with tartar sauce (vegan mayo, chopped capers, dill, salt and pepper )
Cream of broccoli
1 melt vegan butter in a stock pot, sauté sliced potato first, then add broccoli, sprinkle sea salt and pepper, add water, and veggie stock, nutritional yeast, cover and simmer for 10 minutes
2 pour the soup into blender, blend until smooth
3 back soup in the pot
4 add plant milk
5 adjust seasoning with sea salt and pepper
Tofu ricotta marinate tofu with lemon juice, and miso paste Avocado tomato salad
